I’m Paul Legrady, and for many years I have used my MBA to analyze, edit, and write about ESG, EHS, and DEI issues in corporate disclosures, recently as a strategic AI editor.
Today’s Challenge
As AI-generated language becomes easier to produce, the need for expertise in refining and correcting that language becomes more urgent, especially in ESG, EHS, and DEI disclosures where nuance and accuracy are required to mitigate stakeholder and governance risk.
My Value Proposition
These issues impact different constituencies for different reasons. My work focuses on understanding the underlying policies, identifying what they mean for each stakeholder group, and ensuring that a company’s written disclosures reflect those nuances clearly and responsibly.
Editorial Corrections
AI-generated language cannot grasp the nuances at the place where these stakeholders meet – or don’t – particularly when it comes to ESG, EHS, and DEI issues. I use AI as a tool to accelerate drafting, but I rely on professional judgment to ensure that every disclosure is accurate, defensible, and protective of a company’s governance and risk position.
